DAVID GOMBA @ Lutopia Wokshop | Ozorizon S3e01 | 06/06/2025
by Davide GombaI’ve been interview by the legendary Sara Feher for Radio Ozora.
We’re kicking off Season 3 of Ozorizon with sparks, circuits, and stories from one of Ozora’s most luminous corners — Lutòpia. For over a decade, DAVIDE GOMBA — technologist at Rural Hack, jammer at Casa Jasmina, and owner/managing director of Fablab for Kids — has been the guiding light behind this glowing DIY lab at the Artibarn, where LEDs meet imagination and tech becomes wearable art. From fixing light-up accessories to building festival trackers and radio messaging systems, Davide and his crew is empowering Ozorians to express themselves through light, code, and collaborative creation. Last year, on Lutòpia’s 10th anniversary, the workshop took things even further with a peer-to-peer communication experiment using Meshtastic radios — letting people send messages across the valley, no mobile signal required. In this episode, we dive into the philosophy and magic behind Lutòpia: what it means to share tools, solder dreams, and light each other up — one handmade hack at a time. Until next time: stay curious, stay connected — and keep your eyes on the Ozorian horizon.
